About the role

 

In this role, you will support the delivery of all statutory reporting requirements and the external audit process for both the Ampol Group and its subsidiaries.

You will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, working closely with internal teams and external auditors to meet compliance and regulatory standards.

 

  • Monthly reporting requirements including posting of group-related monthly journals
  • Assistance in preparation of half-year and full-year reporting requirements for the Group
  • Assistance in preparation and review of subsidiary financial statements
  • Preparation of full-year reporting requirements relating to Group Compliance and Solvency
  • Preparation of Group elimination entries
  • Preparation of reconciliations between OneStream and SAP
  • Assistance in preparation of technical accounting papers to document and support Group accounting positions
  • Support the relationship with the external auditors
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement in accounting processes to meet the developing needs of the business
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across Ampol

 

About you

 

You will be an individual with exceptional finance, data and systems knowledge. You will be solutions focused with the ability to formulate strategy to drive delivery and outcomes.

 

Key Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (or currently undertaking CA studies)
  • Proven experience with financial systems, particularly SAP and OneStream
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable outputs
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation
