About the role:
Ampol’s Delivery team acts as strategic enabler to our transformation and our operating model, ensuring we responsibly invest in the right priorities to maximise value, consistently deliver impactful outcomes and align Tech, Digital & Data (TDD) to Ampol Group’s strategic goals and outcomes.
The Head of Portfolio Performance & Governance will ensure that TDD is focused on the right priorities, makes the right investment decisions, and delivers the right outcomes to increase performance, return on investment and stakeholder confidence.
You’ll take us further by:
- Lead portfolio governance using structured frameworks that drive visibility, consistency, transparency, and informed decisions to increase portfolio performance and ROI.
- Oversee centralised demand management, prioritisation, planning, benefits tracking, and resource utilisation.
- Analyse portfolio data, derive actionable insights, manage portfolio risks, and ensure TDD meets commitments to ensure stakeholder confidence.
- Drive portfolio efficiency, cost optimisation, and measurable value.
- Lead and mature the Portfolio Governance & Performance function for TDD.
We’d love it if you have:
- Proven ability to lead governance teams, implement governance frameworks, set strategic direction, embed accountability, and drive risk management, compliance, and performance oversight.
- Expertise implementing governance and demand management frameworks that provide consistent portfolio analysis, data-driven decisions including investment and prioritisation evaluation, and transparent reporting about portfolio health, benefits realisation, and risk exposure.
- Strong experience in portfolio financial discipline, resource optimisation, commercial value analysis, and cost and operational efficiency strategies.
- Skilled in engaging a diverse range of stakeholders, shaping and securing buy-in for governance policies, aligning business objectives, and driving portfolio performance and outcomes.
