About the role:

 

The Network Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting the strategic, analytic and reporting functions of the network planning team.   

 

Reporting to the National Planning & Analytics Manager, you will provide periodic insights based on external research, industry sector trends, portfolio performance and competitor analysis.

  

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Continuous improvement of network planning tools and processes
  • Consulting on network planning optimisation opportunities. This includes but not limited to network reviews, gap analysis and QSR brand portfolio reviews
  • Preparing monthly reports on site data and movements, presentations packs, monthly and quarterly business reviews and Investor Relation packs.
  • Administration and governance for Network Planning team
  • Provide necessary Network Planning support to critically analyse and evaluate opportunities and enable the preparation of sales forecasts
  • Understand business’ reporting requirements and develop automation of reporting and dashboard functionality across individual sites/customers, mini markets, regions and nationally

 

About you:

 

To find success in this role you will have experience in a broad range of property and network planning (both owned and leased), including a working knowledge of network planning fundamentals and fuel and convenience business drivers.

 

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or technical field such as real estate, urban planning, network location intelligence and data science you will be experienced in the use geospatial technology and systems, and portfolio analytics.

 

Key skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in network planning, preferably within the fuel and convenience sector.
  • Excellent commercial, technical and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex issues for a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of property and network planning fundamentals with experience in managing large and complex programs of work.
  • Proven experience of using geo-spatial mapping platforms
  • High level of computer literacy including SAP RE, PowerBi and Microsoft suite
