About the role:
Ampol’s Delivery team acts as strategic enabler to our transformation and our operating model, ensuring we responsibly invest in the right priorities to maximise value, consistently deliver impactful outcomes and align Tech, Digital & Data to Ampol Group’s strategic goals and outcomes.
The Productivity Lead will analyse and evaluate processes, technology, operational practices, and spending, to identify high-value cost-efficiency strategies and initiatives that increase measurable benefits for TDD.
You’ll take us further by:
- Identify and drive cost-optimisation initiatives through spend efficiencies and by maximizing return on investment in a dynamic, evolving business environment.
- Apply financial principles, business economics and cost management practices to justify, prioritise and deliver successful transformation and productivity initiatives.
- Streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies using process improvement and lean techniques, reduction of waste, automation and simplification, streamlined tools and technology, workflow optimisation, and smarter resource allocation to improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain financial models, conduct scenario analysis, and use forecasting tools to evaluate financial risks and opportunities for TDD.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the Ampol Group, communicating insights and providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Analyse complex datasets and manage reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and generate actionable insights.
We’d love it if you have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess workflows, spending, and resource allocation, return on investment, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, waste reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies and automation to eliminate inefficiencies, increase productivity, and drive operational spend optimisation and value.
- Experience in financial and operational performance tracking, using KPIs and data-driven insights to identify, measure, and drive improvements.
- Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across functions at all levels to support, implement, and embed sustainable cost-efficiency initiatives.
