About the role

 

 

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for driving technology transformations? Ampol is now seeking a talented Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that will revolutionize our recruitment process and enhance our talent acquisition capabilities.

 

As the Project Manager for the ATS implementation, you will play a crucial role in transforming how we attract, engage, and hire top talent across the Ampol Group. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the new ATS, ensuring a seamless integration with our existing systems, and delivering a solution that meets the evolving needs of our business and operations across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Houston.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the ATS implementation project, ensuring it is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, set expectations, and drive project success. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
  • Oversee the implementation of the new ATS across the Ampol Group, including configuration, data migration, and integration with existing HR systems. Ensure the system meets business requirements and supports efficient recruitment processes.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to facilitate the smooth adoption of the new ATS. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a successful transition.
  • Implement robust testing and quality assurance procedures to validate system functionality and performance. Address any issues promptly to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the ATS and recruitment processes. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive ongoing improvements.

 

About you:

 

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale technology implementation projects, ideally within an HR or recruitment context.
  • Strong understanding of ATS systems and their integration with other HR technologies. Familiarity with leading ATS platforms is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and influence outcomes.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively and develop innovative solutions.
