About the role

 

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the establishment and delivery of the finance transformation program of work.  

 

You will work across the business to plan and execute a broad range of transformational digital and strategic projects for Ampol’s Finance function.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Discover inefficiencies in finance to improve processes, systems and ways of working
  • Seek out effective digital and data capabilities to automate and streamline
  • Drive the execution of initiatives that aim to build a scalable and efficient finance function
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across finance and the business to identify opportunities

 

About you

 

You will have extensive experience in delivering complex digital transformation in finance. As a Chartered Accountant you will have a strong foundation and understanding of accounting standards and nest practice finance.

 

Key skills and experience:

 

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Bachelor degree in Business / Commerce / Economics or Finance
  • Extensive experience in delivering transformation in digital across finance in a similar sized organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Deep understanding of process mapping documentation and implementation of technology
