  • Risk Control Governance: Maintain and improve risk measurement processes (including VaR and limit monitoring), ensuring compliance with risk policies and trading mandates.
  • CTRM Implementation & SME: Act as the Middle Office SME for the global implementation of a new CTRM platform, including defining business requirements, testing, and change management.
  • Process Optimisation: Lead initiatives to automate and standardise manual processes. Embed scalable solutions across systems and reporting frameworks.
  • Market Data Validation: Oversee the maintenance and validation of market price curves used for MTM, VaR, and exposure reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Trading, Finance, Chartering, Risk, and Operations to ensure seamless integration of commercial activities with financial and control reporting.
  • Business Decision Support: Provide analytical insights into trading performance, valuation changes, and risk exposures to senior leadership.
  • Audit & Compliance Readiness: Ensure all processes meet audit standards and contribute to internal and external audit readiness.

  • Exposure to physical commodity trading (Oil).
  • 10+ years of experience in Middle Office, Product Control, or Risk Control functions in commodity trading within the Oil industry
  • Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications or certifications (CFA, CPA, FRM).
