About the role

 

You will be joining our B2B Strategic Mining team, who are focused on fostering strong relationships within the industry.

 

This role will be responsible for selling Ampol's fuel and lubricants products and ongoing customer management to a portfolio of nominated pivotal Strategic customers as tier 1 miners. In addition, identifying future strategic opportunities to maximise margin return and develop action plans to successfully secure priority business for Ampol.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Strategically promote and sell full range of Ampol products and service
  • Identify and target new strategic growth opportunities
  • Maintain a strategic pipeline designed to deliver the business plan
  • Prepare and present Customer Business Reviews
  • Collaborate and foster strong relationships within the strategic segment and B2B team
  • Contribute to the Strategic Mining team to meet business plan and EBIT targets

 

About you:

 

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience within either the fuel or mining industry. You will have excellent sales experience and be passionate about customer relationships.

  • Sales skills and experience, budget planning and management
  • High level of customer relationship and negotiation skills
  • Ability to network across focus market segments
  • Excellent written communication skill and the ability to present to all levels
  • High level of commercial acumen and knowledge of fuels and/or mining
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to develop and implement complex proposals
