About the role

 

In this role, you will join a high performing and technical Employee Relations (ER) function who are focused on providing timely and accurate HR and ER advice to leaders and employees across the Ampol’s business.

 
Key responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the negotiation and drafting of Enterprise Agreements, including strategy preparation
  • Lead complex case management (including management of personal leave-related return to work strategies, investigations, disciplinary action and terminations)
  • Provide advice in relation to Awards, Agreements and employment-related legislation
  • Support and Advise to the business on restructures and the consultation processes
  • Create and implement People & Culture policies and Enterprise Agreements

 

About you

 

Our ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have demonstrated experience in providing accurate, technically sound and practical ER advice.

 

Key skills and experience

 

  • Degree in Law, HR or equivalent experience and extensive experience in an operational employee relations role
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical HR/ER advice and in undertaking complex case management
  • Operational HR/ER experience in a unionised environment or experience with an employer association (highly desirable)
