Based at our Lytton lubricants manufacturing facility, you’ll be part of a team that has capacity to produce 120 million litres of finished lubricants and 6,000 metric tonnes of grease annually, proudly made right here in Australia.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity for an Operator to be part of our Lubricants Warehouse team based in Lytton, Qld. Successful candidates must hold a current forklift license with high reach experience and have solid warehouse experience.
Candidates possessing strong mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded. This position offers excellent development opportunities, with full training provided and potential career progression across our manufacturing operations, including shipping, blending and filling.
Enjoy day shift hours, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime available as well as a nine day fortnight.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate high-reach forklifts safely and efficiently to support daily warehouse activities
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Use RF scanners to manage inventory and product movement
- Load and unload trucks and containers in line with Ampol’s safety standards
- Champion safety and operational excellence, following all site procedures at all times
About you:
You are a team player with a positive can do attitude and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Along with proven forklift skills, you may have a trade background or strong mechanical aptitude. You are eager to learn and grow your career within our Australian lubricants manufacturing team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
- Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
- Trade background or strong mechanical aptitude (advantageous)
- At least 12 months forklift experience and license, including high-reach experience
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills to support accurate documentation and stock management
- High attention to detail and commitment to getting the job done safely and efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
