About the role:

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to deliver accurate inventory costing, financial reporting, forecasts, and budgets that support business performance and strategic goals. This role is responsible for maintaining financial integrity, managing core accounting processes, and providing meaningful insights to the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the manufacturing general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and corrective actions to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and analysis to support business performance.
  • Manage product costing for manufactured and procured lubricants, including master data, indicative costings, and SKU-level analysis.
  • Address complex operational accounting issues and contribute to projects, investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and support stakeholders with their financial reporting and governance needs.

You’re a proactive and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset. You excel at managing relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders across different teams. Adaptable and collaborative, you thrive in driving continuous improvement and navigating change. Your attention to detail and ability to work well within a team help you deliver accurate financial insights that support business success.

 

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and support continuous business improvement and change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel, with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of driver/activity-based costing
  •  CA/CPA qualified and a collaborative team player committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
