About the Role:


The Project Manager will oversee capital projects at Lytton Refinery and other facilities (Terminals, Pipelines, Lubes plant, Wharves). You’ll be responsible for managing projects from design through commissioning, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and EHS targets are met.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead safety performance on projects.
  • Manage projects from design to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Ampol standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance for safe and reliable operation.
  • Oversee construction quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide monthly project status and cash flow updates.

 

 

About you:

 

You are an experienced Project Engineer with a proven track record in managing capital projects. You excel in stakeholder engagement, communication, and have a strong safety focus. Your analytical and strategic thinking, combined with a 'can-do' attitude and a strong work ethic, enable you to thrive under pressure.

 

 

Key Skills and Experience:

 

  • Experience managing multiple projects (up to $40M) in a hazardous materials environment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with oil refinery or petrochemical plant design and capital project management (desirable).
  • Proven project management expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
