Join our Student Vacation Program: 

Are you a highly motivated student currently studying Mechanical engineering?We’re inviting you to be part of our excellent student vacation program within our manufacturing division. As a Mechanical Engineer student, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work in a major hazard facility in the Lytton Refinery. 

 
Program Details: 

  • Start/End Date: November 2025 to February 2026
  • Location: Brisbane based Program – Lytton Refinery
  • Onsite: This role will require students to be onsite 

 

Hired on a full-time fixed term contract, you’ll gain on the job experience where you will learn and develop under the guidance of our Leaders and teams. About you: 

You are a current undergraduate student with excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service and safety. You have the willingness to learn, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work well in a team. You demonstrate strong academic performance and a passion for tackling complex problems. Preference will be given to students in their penultimate year of study. 

 

Please note: Ampol will only be considering Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents for our Graduate Program.
