About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join us in a permanent full-time capacity. Joining a team of seven and reporting to the HR Advisory Team Leader - Retail, you will work as part of a collaborative, supportive and flexible culture and will work within a centralised team to provide HR advice to managers and employees across the Retail Operations business.

 

As the Ampol HR Advisor your focus will be employment relations, providing guidance to the business on HR policies and procedures, assisting managers with disciplinary matters performance management and terminations. You will provide support to managers and employees across all departments with HR policy interpretation / process advice, Award / EA interpretation and advising on management of non-work-related return to work strategies. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain experience on critical projects by supporting Senior HR Advisors & HR Business Partners on projects, restructures and other generalist HR responsibilities.
 

This is a varied and broad role, which would suit someone with a couple of years’ experience looking to take the next step in their career – we offer fantastic learning and development opportunities and strong ownership of cases with the opportunity to get exposure in an interesting and broad ASX listed company.

 

We are based at Sydney CBD, but we will be undertaking a move to Alexandria mid-2021, flexible work from home options are on offer.

 

 

About you:

You will have a minimum 2 plus years’ experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist. Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field would be desirable.  You will have demonstrated solid ER case management experience and will be used to working in a high-volume HR transactional environment. Salesforce and SAP experience will be advantageous.

 

We are looking for individuals that bring exceptional customer service and communication skills demonstrating a commitment to deliver quality services to the business. Strong influencing skills along with the ability to build solid relationships across the business. Additionally, you will be able to prioritise and manage a variety of HR Advisory cases and projects.
